Thank you for choosing our school or expressing interest in your child/ward joining our welcoming and ambitious community at Taverham High School.

We want each of our students to get the very best education and to achieve their full potential. Alongside this, the welfare of your child/ward is our primary concern. During your child/ward’s time at High School, they will be supported by a Head of Year, a member of staff dedicated to ensuring that each child progresses and is supported throughout their academic life at Taverham High School.
Mrs. Gardiner, Assistant Headteacher for Learning Behaviours, Culture and Rewards, also oversees the transition process and will be your main point of contact regarding the transition from Junior School to High School.

Thursday 2nd July 2026: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Parent/Carer Information Evening
Tuesday 7th July 2026: 5:30pm-6:30pm
All Students Transition Days
Wednesday 8th July 2026: 8:45 am – 3:00 pm
Thursday 9th July 2026: 8:45 am – 3:00 pm
Note: in addition to the above days there will be a range of invite only events for students with SEN/SEND and those who may benefit from further transition work e.g., those with anxieties or specific support requirements. For these event, parents/carers will either be contacted directly by Junior Schools or Taverham High School.
